Group Art Therapy Programs

Tailored group outreach programs delivered within the Loddon Campaspe Region to schools who require additional support to engage their students, to support emotional regulation skill development, and support metacognitive development through the use and engagement with art materials. 

Our programs run throughout Terms 1-4 throughout the school year, with. 8-10 students per program. 

Possible Outcomes of Program Engagement 

• Greater capacity to self- regulate 
• Development of emotional regulatory tools through therapeutic art making 
• Psychoeducation provided throughout the program on the impacts of stress, overwhelm and fatigue on the body and brain through the use of evidence based sensorimotor art therapy interventions
