MAKING SPACES FOR GRIEF
5 Week Group Therapy Program
Making Spaces for Grief is a five-week, group therapy offering, designed to gently support you in this difficult work of navigating grief.
This program companions you in approaching your unique relationship with grief through the lenses of curiosity, reverence and courage. Inspired and informed by Francis Weller’s book; The Wild Edge of Sorrow: Rituals of Renewal and the Sacred Work of Grief - this small, closed group invites you into a compassionate gathering of kindness, where sorrow can be carefully tended and held with care.
This program will collectively support you to apprentice to grief with dedicated time, tenderness and shared support – making spaces for new ways-of-being into your life.
Facilitated by Creative Arts Therapist, Marita Jacobsson and Counselling Student, Eva Hoevenaar - who bring their lived experience, grounded in evidence-practice supporting others therapeutically through grief, and honouring the healing potential of creativity and community.
