Autism Assessments
Our team provide comprehensive Autism assessments to accurately identify any underlying developmental differences you, your child or adolescent may be experiencing.
Our assessments are inclusive of comprehensive written reports and feedback sessions. Our reports are easy to read and contain practical strategies and recommendations to support you, your child or adolescent moving forward. .
A multidisciplinary diagnosis is considered the gold standard which is agreed upon by a Psychologist and Paediatrician/Psychiatrist as well as other Allied Health Professionals. Prior to proceeding with the assessment will we make contact with your treating Paediatrician/Psychiatrist.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments
Our team provide comprehensive ADHD assessments to accurately identify any underlying developmental differences you, your child or adolescent may be experiencing.
We administer specific questionnaires for ADHD, in addition to completion of observations to help determine if this diagnosis is appropriate.
ADHD assessments require a thorough investigation of presenting symptoms, this includes further exploration for any other explanations that may be causing symptoms of inattention, difficulties concentrating and hyperactivity.
Cognitive Assessments
Our treating psychologists can provide comprehensive cognitive assessments. Cognitive assessments measure intelligence and compare with same aged peers to understand how well one performs.
Cognitive assessments utilise different assessment tools based on age (WISC, WAIS, WPPSI), and this particular assessment can be utilised to help determine whether a learning disorder, and/or learning disability/ developmental delay is prevalent.
We complete cognitive assessments across the life span from ages 4+
Educational Assessments
Our treating psychologists can provide comprehensive cognitive and educational assessments to accurately identify any underlying problems your child or adolescent may be experiencing with learning.
Dsylexia, Dsycalculia and Dsygraphia learning assessments can be completed by our treating Psychologists where an extensive interview is conducted in relation to schooling history, inclusive of a cognitive assessment to gain an understanding of areas of strength and areas of challenge that require further support.
Additional testing for academic and cognitive giftedness is also available with recommendations offered for extending and supporting the needs of gifted and talented students.
